Get Your Free Tree Seedlings in Montgomery County!

Are you a resident of Montgomery County looking to make your community greener? Look no further! The Clarksville Street Department and Reforest Montgomery, supported by the Forest Conservation Fund, are offering free tree seedlings to property owners throughout the county.

To participate, simply call the Clarksville Street Department during their normal business hours between March 18th and May 6th at (931) 645-7464. Be sure to have your questions or concerns ready, as they will be happy to assist you with any inquiries.

When planting your tree seedlings, please follow these guidelines:

* Place the trees within 10 feet of the roadway, but not in the street, drainage ditch, or blocking traffic views.

* Cut larger limbs to 8 feet in length or shorter and less than 18 inches in diameter.

* Use cardboard boxes or biodegradable paper bags for grass clippings, leaves, and small limbs.

For those who need yard waste pick-up, you can contact the Street Department during normal business hours beginning March 18th at (931) 645-7464 or call the pickup line at (931) 472-3353 to leave your address and details of your yard waste. Please note that tree stumps, tree limbs from topped trees, or limbs trimmed by a commercial tree service will not be picked up.
